Tasty And Easy Fish Fry
Ingredients:
- Fish slices-250 grams(Any fish like Vanjaram,pomfret..)
- Turmeric powder-1/4 tbsp
- Red chilli powder-1 tbsp
- Coriander powder3-1/2 tbsp
- Pepper powder-1/4 tbsp
- chiken masala-1/4 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tbsp
- Lemon juice – 1/2 tbsp
- rava/sooji – 1 tbsp(for crispiness)
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – for shallow frying
Method:
Clean the fish: Wash the fish slices gently
In a bowl, mix turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, pepper,chicken masala, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice and salt. Mix all and coat the fish with the paste.
Marinate:
.Let it marinate for not less than 20 minutes. To get deeper flavour, refrigerate it for 2 – 3 hours.
Before frying, dust every piece lightly with rava flour just before.
Fry the fish:
Put the fish slices and fry on medium heating. Flip when it does the golden brown on one side. Chilli and fry both sides crispy and cooked.
Drain and serve:
Remove and place on a kitchen tissue to absorb excess oil. Serve hot with lemon wedges and onion rings.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve it as a side with hot rice, rasam, or sambar.
